Video: Man in Underwear, 'Cape' Wanted for Smashing Through Ohio Store

Scioto County sheriff's deputies are looking for a man who left a trail of blood and stolen clothing after he crashed through a Dollar General store glass door wearing white underwear and a cape.

Security camera footage shows the suspect bleeding and leaving a trail of stolen clothing while fleeing the West Portsmouth store.
Evidence was recovered at the scene and sent for testing, but the suspect remains unidentified.

A man wearing “what appeared to be white underwear or panties as well as a cape” was seen on security footage smashing through the glass door of a Dollar General in Ohio, deputies said.
An employee arrived at the West Portsmouth location the morning of June 1 to find the store broken into and a trail of blood, the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office said in a June 3 news release.
Surveillance video showed the man breaking into the store, then taking bras and underwear from the women’s clothing section, according to deputies.
The man left a trail of the stolen clothing as he ran from the store, authorities said.
He has not been identified. Evidence was recovered at the scene and was sent for testing, according to the sheriff’s office.
West Portsmouth is about a 100-mile drive southeast from Cincinnati.
